Established in 1981 the Cheltenham
Holistic Health Centre is run by partners Eric Goodchild,
Linda Upton, John Underhill and Chlöe Keef, all
of whom practise at the clinic.
We offer around twenty different well-established disciplines
and treat around 300 patients per week. All therapists
are fully qualified and registered with relevant professional

In addition, many are themselves qualified trainers

is offered by orthodox medicine.
At the Cheltenham Holistic Health Centre we do not describe
our services as alternativethere is
no strict dividing line between the therapies we offer
and those provided by conventional medicine.
Complementary therapies can and often do work effectively
alongside orthodox treatments. Many hospitals in the
UK now actively refer patients suffering from conditions
as diverse as IBS, ME, cancer and back pain. Increasingly
GP surgeries are also introducing therapies such as
acupuncturealbeit on a limited basis.
Hours of business
The clinic is open six days a week from 8.30 am - 6
pm. We can usually arrange home or hospital consultations
if you are not able to travel to us.
Advice on treatment options
If you would like advice on choosing the most appropriate
therapy, please contact our practice manager, Sally
Yallup. She will be pleased to provide a 15-minute assessment
and provide information on different therapies. There
is no charge for this assessment, which will be held
by telephone.
Private Health Schemes
Many of our therapists are registered with private health
schemes. Please let us know if it may be appropriate
for you to re-claim the cost of your treatment.

at the centre is very limited.
Payment
Normally we ask that you pay for each visit before you
leave. For a few therapies, payment is requested in
advance, at the time of booking. Payment may be made
by cheque, cash or credit card. Our current list of

if you have any queries.
Cancellation
We normally ask you to pay for missed appointments
or those cancelled at less that 24 hours notice.
