Katie completed her initial teacher training with YogaWorks and continued with her yoga education to specialise in restorative yoga, yoga nidra and teen yoga. Katie continues to study, practice and explore the practical and philosophical aspects of yoga.
Katie’s classes bring together the importance of core alignment and engagement with awareness of skeletal and muscular alignments of the body. Poses, breathwork and meditation combine to build strength both mentally and physically.
Prior to her teacher training Katie has been practicing yoga since 1998. Katie has a dedicated daily yoga practice which she describes as traditional, experimental and not perfect. She continues to practice and learn with a variety of teachers in the UK and Europe. Katie is an Experienced Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 200).
