Sports related injuries
A fitness regime can help lead you to a good state of health. However, it can also be a cause in the increase of sports related injuries. Any persistent pain which is not dealt with promptly might later become problematic. The elimination of aches and pain at an early stage is therefore advisable. In the treatment of relevant sport related injuries an active therapeutic approach has been developed to accelerate the process of recovery, in the shortest possible time without undue risk of reoccurrence.
Although, athletic injuries differ in no way from either domestic or industrial injuries, the principles of treatment remain identical in every case. The treatment is based on soft/deep tissue massage, light manipulation & the use of acupuncture (for musculo-skeletal conditions only) if required. However, the emphasis will remain in treating soft/deep tissues of the affected area & advice will be given on appropriate stretching exercises.
