About Reflexology
Reflexology is a safe natural therapy that can be dated
back to ancient Egypt. It is based on the principle
that all organs, glands and structures have a corresponding
reflex point on the hands and feet. Using specialised
compression techniques a skilled therapist can detect
and correct imbalances within the body's system. It
seeks to work with the body's natural or inate healing
ability, to restore the body to a state of homeostasis,
or natural balance. Because reflexology works on all
levels, it may benefit the patient physically and emotionally,
as often one will influence the other with illness.
Reflexology is suitable for all ages and may benefit
conditions including: insomnia, stress, back pain, digestive
disorders, sinus, pregnancy, menopause, infertility,
depression and menstrual problems.

The initial appointment takes approximately one hour
and will include a full consultation, medical history
and lifestyle profile, followed by the first treatment.
Most patients feel deeply relaxed after a treatment.
Jane is very experienced in treating a wide variety
of conditions, including: IBS, hormonal disorders, depression,
insomnia, sinus problems, sciatica and chronic fatigue.
Jane Aucott's specialist areas of expertise
include:
Treatment of Endometriosis
Treating infertility with reflexology
Pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions
Frequency and duration
Subsequent treatments take approximately 45 minutes
and are initially weekly, depending on the condition
being treated and how the patient is responding. As
reflexology stimulates the immune system and improves
general well-being, many patients prefer to keep up
